Flooding Source(s) Location of Referenced Elevation**

چکیده
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) publishes proposed determinations of Base (1% annualchance) Flood Elevations (BFEs) and modified BFEs for communities participating in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), in accordance with section 110 of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, 42 U.S.C. 4104, and 44 CFR 67.4(a). These proposed BFEs and modified BFEs, together with the floodplain management criteria required by 44 CFR 60.3, are minimum requirements. They should not be construed to mean that the community must change any existing ordinances that are more stringent in their floodplain management requirements. The community may at any time enact stricter requirements of its own or pursuant to policies established by other Federal, State, or regional entities. These proposed elevations are used to meet the floodplain management requirements of the NFIP and also are used to calculate the appropriate flood insurance premium rates for new buildings built after these elevations are made final, and for the contents in those buildings.

متن کاملA Reactive Location Routing Algorithm with Cluster-Based Flooding for Inter- Vehicle Communication Un Algoritmo de Enrutamiento de localización Reactivo con Diseminación Basada en Grupos para Comunicación Inter-Vehicular
In this paper, we present a reactive location routing algorithm with cluster-based flooding for inter-vehicle communication. We consider a motorway environment with associated high mobility and compare position-based and non-position-based routing strategies, along with a limiting function for flooding mechanisms in reactive ad-hoc protocols. The performance of Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and ...

متن کاملElaboration of Products Derived from the Eo Data
The risk of flooding due to runoff is a major concern in many areas around the globe and especially in Romania. The modern management of spatial data related of river flooding largely relies on the functional facilities supplied by the Geographic Information System (GIS) info-layers, combined with Earth Observation (EO) data-derived information, Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and hydrological m...
متن کاملComparison of Different Grid Cell Ordering Approaches in a Simplified Inundation Model
This study proposes a simplified model for non-riverine flood routing using a digital elevation model. The model has the advantage of running with only a few types of input, such as topographic data and cumulative rainfall. Given its ease of use, the model is stable and reliable for developing a real-time inundation forecasting system. This model uses two approaches to determine the collection ...
